well  known  by most of the friendly, local people.     You should have no problems finding us. There are 4 main routes that the majority of visitors use when making their way to Kanchanaburi.

By car A one and a half hour drive along
highway No.4 (Phetkasem Rd). Onto highway No.323 to Kanchanaburi.

By Train    2 trains daily leaving from Thon Buri station (Bangkok Noi). Depart at 7:45 a.m. & 1:55 p.m.This takes about 3 hours. The Kanchanaburi station is just 1 km. go to the BlueStar GuestHouse. Walking distance if your energetic.

By Bus   This is another common route into Kanchanaburi & with 1st  &  2nd class A/C buses (No. 81)  leaving every 15 mins from 4 a.m. until 9 p.m. from the Southern bus station you have a very short wait for the next bus. The trip takes about 2 hours. and then take a taxi or tuk tuk from bus station only 4 km. to the BlueStar GuestHouse about 80-100 baht.  

By Mini Bus    This service is on offer from many travel agents and guesthouses in Bangkok & commonly booked at & departing from, the Khao San Road area. Different companys will drop you off at different Hotels & GuestHouses, so shop around & you should find one that will bring you straight to us.

Currently, easy to found minibuses at Southern Bus Terminal and Northern Bus Terminal to Kanchanaburi leaving every 1 hr. from 5 a.m.- 6 p.m. takes about 2-3 hrs.
